Brock House is a 1912 Tudor Revival heritage mansion perched on 2.5 acres of manicured gardens at the edge of Jericho Beach, with sweeping west facing views of the Pacific Ocean, English Bay, and the North Shore Mountains. It’s the kind of Vancouver wedding venue that feels grand and intimate at the same time, perfect for couples who want old world elegance, lush outdoor spaces, and a beach just steps away. With a garden marquee tent (up to 180 guests), a glass walled Conservatory, and multiple oak accented rooms inside the mansion, Brock House gives you real flexibility for ceremony, cocktails, and reception all in one location.
We’ve shot Brock House in blazing summer sun and under moody Vancouver cloud cover, and honestly, it looks incredible either way. Our advanced off camera lighting lets us shape dramatic, magazine quality portraits under the tent at night, inside the warm Conservatory, or out on the beach after dark, turning every hour of the day into a photo opportunity. We work photojournalistically through the ceremony and reception so you’re never pulled away from your guests, then use our knowledge of the grounds and the light to grab bold, creative couple portraits during golden hour or whenever the moment is right.

As with any wedding, bad weather is the ghost that haunts every bride-to-be in their sleep. About a week before the wedding I saw that it was supposed rain! Will’s natural talent for putting together a great shot in any condition was certainly noticed! It poured rain for half the day, and was cloudy and dark for the other part. Once we received our wedding pictures we were ecstatic! They made friends of ours wish it had rained on their wedding day. (Of course they would have needed Will as their photographer)
