Why Choose Outdoor Wedding Photography in Vancouver

Beautiful natural scenery

Vancouver is known for its breathtaking natural beauty, from the lush forests and mountains to the serene beaches and parks. Outdoor wedding photography in this city allows couples to incorporate these stunning backdrops into their photos, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Unique venues

Vancouver boasts a wide range of unique outdoor wedding venues, including botanical gardens, vineyards, and rustic barns. These venues not only provide picturesque settings for your ceremony and reception, but they also offer endless opportunities for creative and one-of-a-kind wedding photos.

Mild climate

The mild climate in Vancouver makes it an ideal location for outdoor weddings and photography. With temperate weather throughout the year, couples can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without worrying too much about extreme temperatures or weather conditions.

Tips for Successful Outdoor Wedding Photography

Timing and lighting

The best outdoor wedding photography takes advantage of natural light. Work with your photographer to schedule your photoshoot during the golden hour, the time just before sunset or after sunrise, when the light is soft and flattering.

Backup plans for weather

While Vancouver’s climate is generally mild, it’s essential to have a backup plan in case of rain or other weather challenges. Discuss potential indoor locations with your photographer and venue to ensure that your photos will still be stunning, even if Mother Nature has other plans.

Equipment considerations

Professional outdoor wedding photographers, like Pursell Photography, come equipped with the right gear to handle various weather conditions and lighting situations. Make sure your photographer has weather-resistant equipment and backup gear to ensure the best possible results on your special day.
