Step 2. Choose Where to Elope
There are so many spots to elope in British Columbia. You can choose a beautiful park, your favourite spot in Vancouver or explore the mountains, lakes and ocean that BC has to offer. Step 3. Plan Your Elopement
Do you want to go to the top of a mountain in a helicopter? Island hop using a boat? Hike an awesome mountain? Maybe it’s better for you to elope at your favourite restaurant. Step 4. Make your elopement Legal
Have your elopement made legal in BC by hiring an officiant and applying for the necessary paperwork. Check the 3 easy steps to eloping around Vancouver.
Some elopement venues and parks in Vancouver may require a permit, so you’ll want to confirm with them before booking the venue.
The City of Vancouver will allow you to get married in public parks with fewer than 15 people, find out more about parks you can get married at in Vancouver.
North Vancouver: Get in touch with the booking office. The cost is around $70 for insurance and a permit that lasts for an hour.
West Vancouver: If you want to get married at a park in West Vancouver, you’ll need to get a permit and they cost between $135 and $400.
