We have been wanting to get Whytecliff Park engagement photos for a little while now because it's one of our favourite places to go. It's an awesome park in Horseshoe Bay with rock cliffs, ocean and mountain views, ferns and rocky beaches. It's pretty much one of the most west coast locations you can get in the Lower Mainland. Some days you may be lucky to see the seals sunning themselves on the low tide rocks, or even see porpoises or dolphins! Being that Will and I were raised in Ontario, seeing the BC ocean wildlife will never get old for us! (It's almost embarrassing how excited we get when we see any sort of wildlife). Adrienne and Aaron live in Calgary, and their request was for some west coast landscapes in their photos. There was a drought this past summer, so our initial locations we chose fell through with the wilting, dead leaves everywhere, so we came up with Whytecliff Park. The terrain is not the easiest to navigate with uneven rocks and cliffs, especially when balancing light stands and equipment, but it's so worth it for the photos you get! Adrienne and Aaron were really awesome to work with and we were so happy that they liked our recommendation for Whytecliff Park engagement photos. During the entire session, they were willing to climb anything just to get the shot, which is really inspiring and allows us to get more unique angles. We had so much fun with them, and we can't wait to see them next year to photograph their wedding at Coast Plaza Hotel in Downtown Vancouver. - Lauren
