When thinking back on this Westwood Plateau wedding, I always feel really happy and it brings a smile to my face every time. Kristin and Tim were absolutely a dream to work with. On the day of their wedding, this couple couldn't stop smiling. I really don't think we got a whole lot of photos where they didn't have a massive smile on their face! They had their ceremony at the Hycroft Manor in Vancouver. Strange enough, Hycroft Manor was actually one of the spots they visited on their first date, where a couple was getting married when they checked out the grounds. For their portrait session they chose locations that meant something special to them. Granville Island was where they also went on their first date, but also where Tim proposed 2 years later to Kristin. Glenburn Soda Fountain and Confectionary in Burnaby is a cool vintage styled ice cream shop where they frequent very often, so they rented out the location for they day of their wedding. It was really awesome to be able to tie in personal locations for the couple into their wedding day. Their wedding reception was at Westwood Plateau in Coquitlam. It was a grand location with big vaulted ceilings, wood beams and big windows looking out onto the golf course with an amazing view of the mountains. The night was filled with games, great food and emotional speeches. It was an amazing wedding that we'll remember forever, and we thank you Kristin and Tim for choosing us to photograph your wedding. Your reactions to your photos will be engrained in our memories forever! - Lauren
