Jenny and Michael wanted engagement photos that showed their outdoorsy personalities, so we planned the ultimate west coast style engagement. Port Moody has some of the most lush forest areas with mountain and ocean views. It's a location that has it all. We first went to the forests in Buntzen Lake, where we took them around the trails with huge trees and moss. They brought their Portuguese waterdog, Sally, along for the session as well (She will do anything for hotdogs). During the session, Jenny, Michael and Sally were definitely up for the adventure, by cramming into a hollowed out tree, climbing up a huge tree root, walking across fallen down trees and untamed terrain, just to get those nature photos. For sunset, we headed to Old Orchard Park in an area that had an old broken down structure. The tide was coming in really quick, so Jenny and Michael took off their shoes and walked through through the water, climbed up onto one of the old structures and got some great sunset photos. Sally of course couldn't miss out, so she joined them as well. It was incredibly fun to work with Jenny and Michael, and we are so happy they were up for the adventure to get those west coast engagement photos! We can’t wait until their wedding later this year in Tsawwassen! - Lauren
