T and P got married in the fall at the unique Waterview Event Space in Vancouver that overlooks the False creek city skyline with views of the Burrard Bridge. It was such a beautiful fall wedding, and even the weather cooperated with us!
Waterview Vancouver Wedding
Waterview Event Space is a pretty unique venue to Vancouver with a whole wall of windows letting in lots of nice natural light. They had their first look down the aisle. As she walked down the aisle, they played a video of when she was a little girl pretending to walk down the aisle, therefore resulting in a few teary eyes from guests. They read their own vows they wrote, which was a nice personal touch. They were so in sync that they actually wrote about the same stories that they loved about each other. Just as they kissed and started walking down the aisle, the rain stopped and the sun came out at that moment.
Stanley Park Wedding Photos
We all jumped in the limo bus and headed to Stanley Park for some wedding photos. They wanted photos of the iconic Lions Gate bridge and the beach because they miss those areas since moving to Toronto for work. The sun was peaking out from behind the clouds at that time, making the falls colours look so vibrant after the heavy rain in the morning. They planned for photos around sunset which is really nice, so we finished with photos on the beach.
Vancouver Wedding Reception
The reception was decorated with a lot of little fairy lights on all of the columns, some blue uplighting throughout the venue to create some fun colour, and lots of candles throughout, completely transforming the venue to look intimate and magical. It was such a fun wedding because these two were relaxed and funny, that it made the day go so smoothly. Congratulations T+P, we are so beyond happy that you chose us to photograph your wedding!
