6 hours, 4 locations and 3 outfit changes, creates some fun and gorgeous Vancouver pre-wedding photos! Our couple wanted mountains, ocean, forest, city and night photos. So we curated a well thought out plan to start in Porteau Cove and finish in downtown Vancouver.
Mountain Wedding Photos
We went to Porteau Cove for the first location which has a nice combination of a rocky beach with mountains and ocean. It also has a ferry terminal with some lookout platforms overlooking the landscape, which makes for some beautiful mountain wedding photos.
Next stop was Whytecliff Park in Horseshoe Bay for some ocean photos. This spot is all about the rugged, west coast landscape. Our couple changed into traditional Chinese attire which included a beautiful red dress, and they also had a couple umbrellas, which really worked for this location.
We found a nice spot close by with a pretty dense forest with a nice walking path. We took them down a trail and had some fun with some creative lighting to light up the trees, and also used some colours on our flashes to create some very different and fun forest photos.
City Night Photos
Last stop was in Downtown Vancouver for some city photos. It was getting dark out, so we took advantage of the last bit of light to get some sunset photos, then we walked around the area to take some photos at night with sparklers and the city lights. Overall, it was really fun spending the day with these two capturing some Vancouver pre-wedding photos! Their energy was high the entire time, and it was such an enjoyable experience to photograph them.
