Whistler Engagement
It’s no secret we love Whistler. We spend most of our winter skiing, and trying to get in as many powder days as possible. We also spend countless days exploring the amazing wilderness between Lions Bay and Pemberton. So when Amie and Casey wanted a Whistler engagement, we were excited to jump at the chance to photograph in that beautiful town again.Winter photos
Amie and Casey really wanted winter engagement photos with snow. As the session started, there was no snow, so we started off taking photos at their family “cabin”, which was an amazing Whistler style chalet with stone exterior with wood beams, and a big stone fireplace (our dream home!). We took photos inside the cabin, then after they warmed up by the fire, we headed outside for some winter photos. Amie was really hoping for a snowy day in Whistler because she loved how magical the town looks when it’s snowing. Well, luck was on our side that day because just as we got outside, it started snowing!Nita Lake Lodge
We headed over to Creekside to Nita Lake Lodge since its a bit quieter then the main village. We love the ski chalet style architecture of the lodge, and it’s located right beside beautiful Nita Lake which always has great photo ops. The snow kept falling harder throughout the day, making for the perfect looking winter engagement session.
It was a fun Whistler engagement session, and are really excited to photograph Amie and Casey’s wedding this spring!
