Same-Sex Wedding in Harrison Hot Springs

These two women got married last autumn at the rustic Harrison Hot Springs Resort located in Harrison Hot Springs, BC, a beautiful gem of a small town on the edge of the Fraser Valley.

The Garden Ceremony

The ceremony was an intimate affair with their close friends and family in the back garden. It’s completely covered in beautiful large trees with tons of greenery everywhere, and a nice archway to get married under. They read their own personal vows to each other which made them and their guests burst out in happy tears. It was so beautiful, so intimate and incredibly happy.

Harrison Hot Springs Wedding Photos

We feel that Harrison Hot Springs is a magical area with incredible scenery. After the ceremony, we just stayed around the resort for photos of the two of them, as there are a lot of cool areas all within walking distance. We started at a beautiful vine archway right in the resort, then just walked around looking for interesting lighting or unique angles. There was a long dock in town that has great mountain views of Mt. Cheam and also the surrounding mountains, so it just looks epic 360 degrees around you.

Autumn Wedding

It was so cold all week long, and the day before had incredibly heavy, heavy rain and high winds. Since these two were having an outdoor ceremony in autumn, it was one of those situations that you hope this bad weather passes. Well, luck was on their side! The day of the wedding, the storm passed, the sun came out and even though it was slightly on the chilly side, it turned out perfect. Thank you so much K + K for choosing us to be your photographers. It was such a beautiful, intimate wedding and we were so happy to be a part of it!

If you are having a wedding in the Fraser Valley and are interested in having us photograph it, we would love to hear from you!
