Christina and Devon's rustic casual wedding was packed with their personality. It was extremely obvious family was extremely important to them. They have 2 ridiculously cute children together and after years of being together decided to officially tie the knot with a more casual wedding that fit their laid back personalities. They managed to find a very rare thing in the Vancouver / Lower Mainland area: a barn that you can hold a ceremony and reception in. Its like seeing a unicorn, you can never find them... but when you do, they are amazing. They had a unique outdoor ceremony with dogs running wild which made for a lot of laugher and fun. A mix of formal and casual wedding attire added to the vibe of the wedding (who hasn't wanted to go to a wedding in shorts?). After the ceremony there was an extended cocktail hour where we got tons of candid moments. The entire family was jumping on the trampoline in the grounds. The huge property had lawn games all over with the rustic barn right in the middle and lots of other awesome wedding ideas. The inside of the barn venue is lined with old weathered wood and a balcony surrounding the inside. Close friends preformed live at the reception and it sounded fantastic. The family loves camping so they wanted to incorporate that into their wedding. The end of the night guests stayed the night in their tents and RV's. We love when couples do their wedding their own way. I think this was a perfect example of that.
And on a personal note. We are super excited to have won the 2015 Couples Choice Award based on our high rating on review websites. 🙂
