Lush gardens is a little atypical for Okanagan Wedding Photography. Usually, when you think of the Okanagan, you think wineries and dry desert hills. However, on one of Aly and Kyle's frequent trips to British Columbia (they both are from Alberta), they found their perfect venue. Kyle and Aly chose the beauty of Linden Gardens in Penticton, BC, to be their backdrop during their wedding. One the day of the wedding, it started off raining in the morning, then just before Aly walked down the aisle, the skies broke up and sunlight snuck in just in time. It looked magical. Kyle is a firefighter, so he really wanted some firehall photos. It just happened that there was a firehall at the end of the street, so we took advantage to get some amazing photos for them. We finished off the portrait session at an old abandoned hotel in Kaleden, which the couple really loved. The reception was a crazy party, with the groomsmen breaking out into their own rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody, accompanied by some awesome air guitar skills by the groom. Thank you Kyle and Aly for choosing us to document your intimate day in the Okanagan! - Lauren
