Holy Cross Parish Wedding

These highschool sweethearts decided to tie the knot this year, and celebrated it with a big Italian wedding at Holy Cross Parish and Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver BC! It was a packed church with all of their friends and family in attendance. I’m not sure I even know a quarter of the amount of people that were at their wedding. They decided to go very traditional with their wedding and had the first look down the aisle, and a catholic ceremony.

Il Giardino Park and Gastown Wedding Photos

E+G dedicated a good portion of their wedding day to wedding portraits. We went to Il Giardino Park in Vancouver, and this park is so different and cool with all of the sculptures, water features and tiled ground. It really is one of the most unique parks in Vancouver. After we were done using that location, they had time to go to a second spot, and they chose Gastown. We found a quiet nook away from the majority of crowds and used some of the unique Gastown features in their photos.

Il Centro Italian Cultural Centre Wedding Reception

This banquet hall is massive and can house a lot of guests (and the food is awesome), so this was the perfect venue for these two. The whole night was full of great events, lots of laughs and good stories of the couple. A really awesome decor feature was the light up “LOVE” sign that was right behind the head table. It made for some really fun photos with some of the events that took place over the evening.

This was such a fun wedding, and thank you Elyse and Gerry! You two are such genuine, kind and overall amazing people, and we are so grateful that you chose us to document such an important moment in your lives.
