A+K had their intimate spring wedding at the University Women’s Club of Vancouver (aka Hycroft). They were really hoping for some nice spring weather, along with capturing some famous Vancouver cherry blossom photos.
Garden wedding first look and portraits at UBC Nitobe Garden
The photography coverage started at the first look at UBC Nitobe Garden, which was spectacular in Spring. We utilized almost every area of the garden for some fun wedding portraits, and made sure to capture some with the cherry blossoms that just started to bloom.
Outdoor wedding ceremony at University Women’s Club of Vancouver
We absolutely love intimate wedding ceremonies. Their wedding was outside on the terrace, overlooking the garden and skyline. There are so many nice little moments throughout the ceremony, as well as some amazing emotions captured between close family and friends.
Wedding reception in the main room at University Women’s Club of Vancouver
The wedding was small enough to fit everyone inside the beautiful main room upstairs at Hycroft. The main room looks so luxurious during the reception, and is perfect fit for anyone who is planning to have a small, intimate wedding.
Dancing at sunset
A+K timed their first dance outside on the terrace perfectly just as the beautiful spring sun was setting. Lauren was up nice and close for some creative closeup photos, while Will managed to use a few of the different balconies around the wedding venue to get some unique angles.
Traditional Hanbok (Korean traditional clothing)
The couple and both sets of parents incorporated some Korean traditions by dressing in the traditional Korean Hanbok. The bride’s parents really embraced this moment with the groom’s parents, and it was such a beautiful integration of both cultures in one day!
Thank you so much A+K for choosing us to be a part of your intimate spring wedding at the University Women’s Club of Vancouver! It was such a great experience!
