Fort Langley Wedding
The bride “N” and groom “C” had a lovely Fort Langley Golf Course wedding this past summer, which is a nice venue in Metro Vancouver. It was such a fun wedding and even the rain didn’t dampen the day!The Proposal
The bride wrote: “C proposed in Whistler during our getaway. He went down on one knee and got so nervous that he didn’t ask the question. He just went down on his knee in complete silence and extended a box with most perfect ring inside. Meanwhile, our friends were hiding in the bushes taking pictures of us.”First Look At Home
On the wedding day, the bride got ready at her home with her bridesmaids, while the groom got ready at a hotel room nearby with his groomsmen. The groom arrived to their home to do a first look where he was put through a series of tests which he had to pass in order to see his bride. They had their wedding portraits before the ceremony in the afternoon, and decided on Pitt Lake because they love water and mountains. We had a backup rain location planned out initially, but it only started raining on the way to this location. Ultimately it worked out amazing and the couple didn’t mind the rain. They just used umbrellas and we went to the viewing platform and used that when it rained at its heaviest.Fort Langley Golf Course Wedding
The ceremony was an intimate affair in a beautiful room at the venue. It was supposed to be outdoors in the garden, but the rain was off and on throughout the day, so to avoid the risk, they brought the ceremony indoors in a separate room from their reception. The wedding reception was beautifully decorated for this intimate wedding with nice lighting and candles. Even though things didn’t go as planned with the rain, these two took it in stride. They didn’t let it phase them and rather they embraced each moment with each other and their family and friends, and it turned out perfectly!
