Fort Langley Wedding
M + P got married last September at the historic Fort Langley Community Hall, which is an old revival building in the heart of Fort Langley. They had their ceremony at Sts. Joachim and Ann: Roman Catholic Church, a beautiful church with full wood interior in Langley.
Catholic church ceremony in Langley
The ceremony was a beautiful service, and the interior of the church had big wooden arched ceiling with big windows letting in nice directional light for photography. After the ceremony, we used some of the interesting architecture throughout the church to get some fun photos of just the two of them.
Country wedding photos
During the portrait session, we went to an open field with a single standing, decrepit red house. It was a pretty fun location to get some country wedding photos. There was a sunflower field right next to it as well, so we quickly jumped over there for some sunflower wedding photos. They had quite a bit of time reserved for photos, so we had a second location at the Fort Langley Historic Site, where we used a couple of indoor locations and bridges for some more dramatic style photos.
Community Hall Wedding
The reception was in the community hall in the middle of the the town. They chose the venue because they really enjoy taking their motorcycles out for rides around Fort Langley. It was a classic wedding with some DIY details and they put up string lights throughout, which really suited the venue and gave it a nice, intimate feel.
It was a really fun day hanging out with these two, and we are so happy they chose us to photograph their special day!
