Diana and David's False Creek Community Centre wedding on Granville Island was so much fun! They decided to have their wedding all within walking distance from where Diana lived, so they walked everywhere. Granville Island a place they frequent often, and they wanted a place where their guests could entertain themselves between the ceremony and reception. Diana and David both got ready in Kitsilano. Rita Tang Hair & Make-up did a gorgeous job on Diana. They got married at the beautiful and grand St. Augustine's church in Vancouver. Corazon Weddings was the day of coordinator that had every detail set up perfectly, and made the day go smoothly. They had a beautiful ceremony, and afterwards, we took some portraits in the church with the amazing architecture and big windows. We walked down to Vanier Park afterwards with the bride, groom and wedding party taking candids along the way, and then took some photos along the beach overlooking downtown and north shore mountains. The wedding party hopped into a water taxi and headed over to Granville Island to get some more candid photos of some spots they love visiting. Diana and her mother were responsible for a lot of the decor at the reception at False Creek Community Centre.  Diana made a seating chart in the form of a web of how they know each of their guests, and she also hand painted the cake toppers to look like her and David. Her mother made all of the napkins and the burlap centre pieces, as well as the groom's and groomsmen's ties and bridesmaids' sashes and purses. There was a lot of love that was put into this wedding. David did a spin on the garter toss by giving all of the single guys a shot of Fireball before tossing the garter at them. They have a thing for Fireball. We finished off the night by going outside and getting a final night photo in an alleyway at Granville. It was an awesome wedding! Thank you David and Diana for choosing us to document such a special day for you! - Lauren
