L+A celebrated their fusion Greek/Chinese wedding at Unitarian Church of Vancouver, and reception was held at the Diamond Ballroom Vancouver. When we asked the couple to tell us a little about themselves the bride replied, "We love Halloween, zombies, scary things, alcoholic things", and that is exactly what they had, a Halloween/fall themed wedding. After the ceremony, we took the couple to an abandoned building and then under a bridge for their portrait session, which we felt really worked with their theme and personality. The reception held at the Diamond Ballroom, was the perfect setting for this fall wedding, with pumpkins, flowers and candy apples decorating every table, servers wearing masks, and big, panoramic windows looking out to an epic landscape of downtown Vancouver and the mountains. They combined their traditions throughout the day starting with a Greek wedding ceremony, then finishing with the bride changing in a traditional (and very sparkly) Chinese dress, dragon dancing, plate smashing, and traditional Greek dancing. It was action packed, full of excitement and kept the guests entertained for the entire night. Thank you L+A for choosing us to be a part of your wedding (and your engagement session)! It was amazing getting to know you over the course of the year, and to be able to photograph you two! - Lauren
