Johnny and Cailin were married at Burnaby Village Museum Chapel, where they had an intimate ceremony with close friends and family. The day started off where Cailin was getting ready at her house getting her makeup, hair done and having her bridesmaids helping her with her dress. Johnny was getting ready in a hotel, but first he had to make a trip to the mall for last minute wardrobe changes and finishing it with a train ride with his groomsmen. The ceremony was at Burnaby Village Museum chapel, which is small and quaint, perfect for an intimate wedding like Johnny and Cailin's. Once the ceremony was over, we toured around the village taking photos at a heritage house, an interurban tram with a train cart that you can sit in, a carousel ride and an old village! It was raining quite a bit that day, so we took some epic rain photos as well. After the portrait session, we went to the couple's backyard reception, where a tent was setup and a dance floor outside of the tent, lined with lanterns. The reception was full of games, music, dancing and laughter. Cailin's dad wrote a beautiful song for his daughter, Johnny's parents made a rap song for their son, and Cailin's sister sang for their first dance. Between these two families, there's a lot of creativity. A backyard wedding was a great way to end off this couple's intimate day, where they could spend it with people they care about. Congratulations Johnny and Cailin!
