For this Airbnb Elopement with a helicopter tour, the bride and groom rented an Air BnB called ” Royal Harrison Retreat ” in Harrison Hot Springs that has a helipad right on the site for their micro wedding.
Royal Harrison Retreat is nestled on the shores of Harrison Lake that’s perfect for outdoor lovers. The venue has a helicopter to take you into the mountains right after the ceremony.
The outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake and waterfall
They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the rain with views from their rooftop (see more outdoor wedding venues). They were able to exchange vows surrounded by a waterfall and a lake. It’s always such a pleasure working with Young Hip and Married to officiate the wedding.
Private beach, waterfall, and helicopter
The secret beach and waterfall views at The Royal Harrison Retreat were perfect for elopement photos. We decided to use the site’s awesome lake, secret beach, and waterfall views for elopement photos before heading up in a helicopter to see some epic spots.
There were plenty of activities for the elopement photos in case the helicopter didn’t go as planned. The Royal Harrison had a boat, houseboat, and ATV rentals available for use. The private beach right on the property was also a highlight.
All celebrations are extra special when they come with family. It is the small moments that make the big memories. That’s why when a couple has their teenage kids as the guests, it made the elopement extra special. (Get more ideas for your elopement with The Ultimate Guide For How To Elope In British Columbia)
Winter elopement in the PNW
The elopement ceremony took place during the winter in the Pacific Northwest of British Columbia. There was rain and wind but it made for some super unique and moody elopement photos. Airbnb Elopement with a helicopter tour right from the venue
We had a small weather window and needed to get some shots in before the rain came. Hunter Helicopters sped us up as the weather was getting chaotic so we weren’t able to do anything on top of any mountain peak. This meant that we had to make our way back down through the mist and fog. We found an amazing location in the middle of a river surrounded by mountains for some epic views.
