I feel lucky that wedding photography turned into my dream job. I get to meet great people and make something creative from one of the biggest days of their lives. In 2008, Lauren and I moved from Ontario to the West Coast, and it has been nonstop adventure ever since. When I’m not holding a camera, you’ll usually find me outside somewhere in BC, skiing, mountain biking, or chasing wind.

We embrace the challenges that come with capturing stunning images in any weather condition. By utilizing our own lighting equipment, we have more control over the scene, allowing us to bring a unique perspective and depth to our photos. Our skills and experience enable us to create breathtaking images that perfectly capture the essence of each moment, even in the most challenging weather conditions. We are proud to have taken some of our best photographs during rainstorms and other challenging conditions.
Rainographers
As with any wedding, bad weather is the ghost that haunts every bride-to-be in their sleep. About a week before the wedding I saw that it was supposed rain! Will’s natural talent for putting together a great shot in any condition was certainly noticed! It poured rain for half the day, and was cloudy and dark for the other part. Once we received our wedding pictures we were ecstatic! They made friends of ours wish it had rained on their wedding day. (Of course they would have needed Will as their photographer)

As a photographer, I take great pride in editing each and every image that I give to my clients. The editing process is where I truly get to bring out all the extra details that should be highlighted and hide the “not so flattering” parts to create a polished, finished piece of art. I have a passion for contrast, images that “POP” with vibrant colors and emotional black and whites. My digital darkroom technique, which mimics the traditional darkroom technique used with film, draws the viewer’s eye to the most important elements of the image. I take the time to ensure that each photo I deliver is not only beautiful but also tells a story.

After you contact us using our contact form. We will set up a phone call to hear more about your wedding and see if we are the right fit. To officially book us, you need to pay a non-refundable deposit and a signed online contract.
We have options to purchase digital photos, However, printing using us ensures you will get the best quality. We have access to albums and wall art only available to professional photographers. Images are also edited to our supplier’s profiles.
What you see on our website is what you get! Keeping the team small ensures you will get similar quality work as advertised. Using our light ensures we can take awesome photos in any situation, as well as keeps the photos consistent. Will edits all the photos so you know you will be receiving the same quality. We provide a mix of dramatic as well as natural light photos.
