Will Pursell is a professional photographer based in Vancouver, British Columbia, dedicated to providing photography that is different, fun and dramatic. We have easy-to-use service, retaining a consistent photographic quality and style. We constantly try to surpass our clients’ expectations for every wedding we photograph.

The Team
Will is the main photographer and a lighting ninja. He can seamlessly direct you though posed shots and unobtrusively take powerful candid images with an eye for detail. Will handles most of the business and will be your point of contact through most of your wedding photography experience.
Second photographer Lauren takes an all natural candid approach to wedding photography and will often catch the perfect “in between moments” . Lauren also professionally designs all our wedding albums to showcase your images amazingly and bring in your personal style.

When not behind the lens you will find them skiing, hiking, kayaking, and exploring for a new adventure. They also enjoy spending time with friends, watching funny movies, sitting on the beach with a cold beer or playing video games.
Traveling is a huge part of our life. We enjoy exploring different destinations around the world. Our favorite place to explore is our home; British Columbia, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
They both have an obsession with art and design and Will loves his technology.

Engagement Sessions
We make it our responsibility to capture your true personalities and your love. E-sessions are laid back, fun and never stressful! Our average engagement session lasts around 2 hours. We can shoot in multiple locations, you are more than welcome to bring a change of clothes, or add props to get a variety of looks.
Trash The Dress
Feel like getting dirty? Trash The Dress sessions are an opportunity for the bride to put on that gorgeous dress one more time after the wedding and dirty it up, or just to put it on again and get some really interesting, fun photos. The misconception about this shoot is ruining the dress, anything goes on this day! We can get crazy by trashing the dress, or keep it clean and shoot some unique photos. This session provides you with beautiful, creative photos that makes an amazing addition to your wedding experience.

Modern Wedding Albums
We have done extensive research to bring you the BEST wedding albums that offer quality and durability. We offer a modern twist on a wedding album. Our professional Graphic Designer customizes your album by designing layouts to best tell the story of your wedding day. We offer a choice of 3 amazing albums at different price points. Each album has beautiful, thick pages printed on high quality archival paper, making the colour pop.
Canvases And Enlargements
Get your favourite photos off the screen and onto your wall. We offer professional stretched canvases printed on metallic paper. The result is quality you have never seen before. Both our enlargements and canvases are offered on archival photographic prints that will outlast a lifetime!

How should we inquire and what are your prices?
Drop us an email using our contact form. We will get back to you within 24H to let you know if we are available and send you a info booklet.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! Travel is included within the Greater Vancouver Area. We often travel outside of Vancouver to Vancouver island, the Okanagan, Calgary, Ontario and lots of other provinces within Canada. We are also available for destination weddings!
Are the high resolution files included?
All of our packages include a DVD containing the high resolution image files. Every photo gets individual corrections. There will be a great mix of black & white and toned images that are hand picked by us. The highlights will be enhanced using our unique post-processing techniques.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes, every image is fully edited by Will Pursell.
Can we make our own prints?
We provide you with the high resolution images ready to print! Of course we always recommend using us for albums and enlargements because we can offer quality products not available to consumers.
Do you bring backup equipment?
We bring 3 complete setups including cameras, lenses and flashes. There are 2 photographers at every wedding we photograph. We backup your images to a offsite hard drive and backup your high resolution files online once your wedding is completed.
I notice you use lighting, does that slow things down or get in the way?
Using lighting actually gives us the ability to work quicker on location because we do not have to search for perfect lighting. We do not need to search for shade or worry about dull lighting conditions. Lighting gives me quick full flexibility over my photography so we can spend more time capturing your day.
If we ever use lighting during the ceremony or reception, we make sure to keep it out of the way.
We also control our lights wirelessly so we do not need to run back and forth changing settings as well as having wires people can trip over.
What if it rains on my wedding?
We enjoy shooting in the rain, fog, darkness, bright sunlight and anything else that the weather can thow our way (sometimes it makes it more dramatic). We also have a huge amount of covered backup locations scouted.
